The seminar organized in Akola on the unique topic of “Songs are the best companions in the happiness and sorrows of human beings” under the banner of Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Academy, Mumbai became memorable for everyone due to the interesting ideological expressions of various speakers and the impressive presentations of various artists.
Role of songs is important in cultivating human beings
Expressing their views in this seminar organized in the auditorium of Toshniwal Science College, Akola on Sunday, 29th September, 2024, various guests said that the role of songs has always been important in cultivating human beings. Various speakers said that it is not that people never get lonely anywhere in their lives surrounded by thousands of people in various fields of society. Only those people, who make poetry, song and music their true companions in their life, can never be left alone anywhere. Whether they live in the ravines or in prison. Whether they are housewives devoted to household chores or sailors sailing hundreds of miles away from home in the sea. Whether it is a child sleeping in the lap of the mother or a freedom fighter facing the Kala Paani punishment for Mother India, songs and music have accompanied everyone very well. In this seminar, which started with the Maharashtra State Song, Shyam P. Sharma, Executive Member of Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Academy, presented the introduction of seminar. The seminar was inaugurated by Madan Rathi, president of Hindi Sahitya Kala Manch of Buldhana district. Swagatadhyaksha of the event, Advocate Moti Singh Mohta was felicitated by Dr. Pramod Shukla, senior member of Maharashtra State Hindi Sahitya Academy.
On the same day, on the death anniversary of renowned poet and former principal of Sitabai Kala Mahavidyalaya of Akola, Ramkrishna Srivastava, the chief guest of the seminar, Dr. Ramprakash Verma presented his satirical composition and a song in his memory. In this seminar dedicated to poetry and songs, Dr. Kumudini Barde, who grew up in the soil of Jodhpur, presented a Rajasthani folk song. She proved the best use of joint presentation with Prof. Nana Bhadke. In the seminar, Dr. Shailendra Dubey, Dr. Ashok Rathi, Krishnakumar Sharma and Ms. Sharda Biyani presented melodious presentations based on the poems and songs of famous Hindi poets. During the seminar, the auditorium was full of literature lovers including Vijay Kaushal, President, Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh, Naval Agarwal, Mohini Modak, Nishali Panchgam, Dinesh Shukla, Prof. Jaiswal, Sagane Nimbalkar and Dr. Priya Keshwani, Lalaji Sharma, Kamal Verma, Vijay Jani, Dr. Rajiv Biyani, Dr. Hedaji, Advocate Satyanarayan Joshi, Prof. Keshwani, Anurag Mishra, Vijay Chaudhary, Neemaji Jhunjhunwal, Nisha Pandey, Mrs. Darshan Lahariya, Prof. Sarika Agarwal, Mahesh Pandey, Akhilesh Shukla, Charudutt Shelke and Suresh Khandelwal. Prof. Nana Bhadke expressed his gratitude to all. In the end, the seminar concluded with the national anthem.
